The food was okay, but the staff was very nice and the view is beautiful.

Awesome fish and chips! Fish was nicely battered and quite delicious! Staff was great, friendly and courteou! The only thing that could have been better was the beverages could have been colder. Still though, 2 thumbs up...great patio too!! 👍👍

Had lunch here in the summer, service was slow, but place was fairly busy, so understandable. Food was mediocre to good, but overpriced for the portions. Worst of all was the attitude of the owner. We overheard a customer making a polite and legitimate complaint; the customer was then treated with disdain and arrogance (not to mention rudeness) by the owner. After reading another review, I see it is not an isolated occurrence. It really turned us off and rather spoiled our meal. Even if the food & service had been excellent, I would not return to this place because the owner does not deserve our patronage.

Regarding the ice cream... Great selection but small scoops for the price. If you have the option go to Baysville for ice cream!

Was the worst service we had anywhere.

After waiting in line, found out that they were out of most of the ice cream flavours we wanted were gone. Asked for a sample to help choose a new flavour but was not allowed. Server was mostly fine but unhappy about making change.I advise people to just go buy a treat at Robinson's. You think you want ice cream, but you probably dont want to pay a premium for this place.

Beautiful view. Should have noticed the Wanted sign for a cook, wait staff, and dishwashers. We were quickly seated because no one was eating here, at noon on a Wednesday. After waiting 15 minutes for our order to be taken, we proceeded to wait another 40 minutes for our food (again, the restaurant was basically empty except for a few tables). The food was decent, but not worth waiting for as long as we did.

The ceasar salad didnt come with bacon, not ok...

$8 for a milkshake that all you can taste is the 2% milk they add into it. Since when is a chocolate milkshake white?

Disposable cups. And it looked like it had been used. Red stuff (lipstick?) on rim. We were afraid to touch the S&P shakers Portion size was small, especially for the fries.Nice view but that’s it. For $50 for 3 (all we had was water to drink) and no app or dessert it was way over prIced. MCDONALD small fries is a larger portion for the fries.

My first impression walking into this restaurant from the street was a little sketchy but once inside the first thing I noticed was the cleanliness of the dining room and the beautiful open deck with a beautiful view of the lake of Bays. I thought to myself given there are no other restaurants open at this time I’ll give this place a shot and I was pleasantly surprised. The service was immediate and pleasant, the food was wonderful and the portion was generous. I’m going to bring my wife here she would love it especially if we get to eat out on the deck. I don’t know why the Google rating is so low at 2.7 I will give this place a 4.5 definitely ‼️

This is a small quaint establishment with quiet outdoor seating which has a fantastic view of the lake. I stopped in here to grab a bite after visiting the beautiful Dorset Scenic lookout tower. The service was slower than I usually like it to be, the waitress there was very friendly make me feel welcome. I had the Caesar salad and onion soup which was okay but I did feel the portion was quite smaller than I'm used to.There was nothing wrong with the food but then again there was nothing that stood out about it either.if you're not in a rush to be anywhere, I would recommend stopping by this place

Maybe it's the winter season, so one of my grandmothers is serving up the order. Menu simplicity. Burgers but not bad

Stopped in for lunch and had a fabulous lunch! Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Staff was amazing! Friendly and warm. restaurant was clean and the view is breath taking! Thanks Zacharys! Cheers!

Tiny little restaurant. We were there on a pleasant autumn day in early October and we were able to sit and look out over the water. It is a gorgeous view. We had delicious sandwhiches and a very sweet and helpful waitress.

Service was slower than molasses. It was 30 minutes before they took our order and 45 more before it finally came out. Food was not great and not worth the wait. And they were out of half of the menu. This was all while the restaurant was not very busy.

I've cottage in Dorset my whole life and it's probably the second time I've been into this restaurant. For good reason. Everything was overpriced and small portions, or mediocre food. I felt bad for the waitress who was clearly being stressed by the owner. Everyone that came in couldn't be seated cause she was busy doing everything at once. I wanted to tell them not to bother.

Would not recommend and will not becoming back.

Only customers in restaurant asked for a western omelette, heard beep beep so I asked waitress if she microwaved the eggs for my western and she said yes, her excuse was that it was the only way to make it because it would taste like a burger if she used the grill?? Lazy ...

This place was fantastic. I came here 30 minutes after closing time and the owner still accommodated me. I only wanted fries and gravy and she still took care of me. I'd rather spend my money at places like this. People who care about their customers and not only about making money. We'll done. Thanks

This restaurant has been a convenient pitstop over the years for lunch and ice cream. Food has been ok, servers friendly, menu item availability spotty, service slow - but not a big deal if you expect it. Today, a gentlemen clearly involved in the operations, berated us for putting the garbage from our meal in the only garbage container in sight. Apparently, the best way of conveying that garbage originating at this place is to be “brought across the road to Robinsons” (as strange as that may sound), is at the top of ones voice, followed by a rant, pointing and glaring. We dutifully followed his directions away from this establishment. Nearby Baysville will be our new pitstop.

Sweet and lovely waitress but clearly stressed due to owner abuse. We were absolutely shocked that the owner was so hostile to customers and staff. Clearly, customers are unwelcome. One star too many.

Got the steak sandwich, it was fantastic!

First when I was waiting for the ice-cream, the young male employee yelled on very nice senior women waiting in the line and after I entered to the restaurant patio and asked for an ice-cram, the young pleasant female employee said that I can get it from the front and seat at the patio, when I headed to the patio one lady apparently the owner said. -Where you think you are going.I explained her that the employee inside advised us that we can seat at the patio. She didn’t let us in and told us that if we can’t afford to buy a food then we have nothing to do inside. By the way they only take cash.You can make a conclusion.Please be nice towards other people! It’s not that hard 😀

We tried to get some ice cream. Had to get the waiter from the restaurant, however, the second we said "ice cream" he mentioned "X" with his arms, after that he said "you have to wait at 15mins", ok no problem. Since we drove here we can wait. While waiting I asked for the washroom, he told me to go across the street to the public washroom. I'm pretty sure all restaurants have washrooms and I was going to become a paying customer but he made it difficult. I mean if the waiter's gesture wasn't rude and allowed me to use the restaurant washroom, it would've been easy profit on ice cream. Great job!

Empty during long weekend lunch hour -- says a lot about the restaurant.

Finally a restaurant in this desolate area. All in all very good.
